Minecraft: Pocket Edition to get "significantly Larger Worlds'

The mobile version of Minecraft - also known as Minecraft: Pocket Edition - is being developed to allow for massive changes - literally. Developer Mojang announced on its website that the team is "restructuring a lot of code to allow for significantly larger worlds in future updates," and also changing the AI of the creatures and the inventory system.

There's no release date for the Pocket Edition updates, but Mojang stated that "everything will go according to work out as planned." We believe that this statement was written while stroking a fluffy white cat or aboard the Death Star.

Mojang is also "pausing" access to the Pocket Realms beta, which allows for persistent worlds stored on private servers.  MINECRAFT-SERVERS.WEBSITE Mojang said that the Realms team is currently working on the upcoming release PC Realms. "Once that's finished and we'll have a more suitable place to focus on Pocket Realms, and make it as amazing as we can, which will be later in the year." The pause will begin on March 1.
